  2. I don't how fast you draw exactly but if John says so you might want to listen. These look good to me maybe a little skinny. Keep up the work and you'll get there.

  3. These are lookin great, RooniMan. I like how fast you draw, it's retains a lot of liveliness and energy. But I guess what they might mean is to slow down and make sure you get the proportions right.

If you draw too slow, your lines might get wobbly. Right now they're long and confident. Keep it up, dude!

  4. Draw draw draw. The more you draw the more you'll know.

I could be wrong but I don't think John is talking about your pencil speed,
but that before you move on to do the next drawing you should turn a critical eye toward each drawing. To make sure you're capturing the form the energy and weight of the drawing you are following, before moving on to the next drawing.
When I draw cartoony I tendto draw too skinny as well. You can over come allthat. Draw draw draw.

  6. These are awesome man. I like how you maintained the life and vitality of the original drawings.

To be honest, I think I had the same problem of drawing very skinny with my pencil with my earliest construction studies partially because of the #2 mechanical pencils I used to draw them (very embarrassing period. I also used a crappy carbon pencil, which is why some of them looked messy and sloppy.). As I started to become more aware of different pencil grades besides HB, I started buying softer pencils, which made it so much easier not to draw skinny and have better line weight. I personally like using 3B and 4B pencils best. Maybe that could help in your future studies, but otherwise, these look so much better than the studies I do even currently. Keep it up!
